Thirst Detached Youth Project
Our new project launched in November 2021 known as the Thirst Youth Hub which will see the team of volunteers being flexible in their approach rather than being tied to one building on a fixed day and time.
Thirst Youth Hub volunteers have a range of specialities which we will target to meet the changing needs of the young people of our Parish and hopefully boost their confidence to engage in the wider community.

We hope that the enthusiasm of the young people and volunteers will ripple throughout the Parish and see to enable young people to make a real difference in their community. We wish to enable the young people of our parish to engage in discussions about the real topics that impact on their daily lives and support them along with others to effect change in our area. Our initial work will be with a youth committee to direct our project.

For your prayers
-
As a new project we would like the congregation of the parish to always hold the young people and the Thirst youth hub team in your prayers.
-
Pray for the Thirst Youth Committee for direction and dedication.
-
We would like support and prayers for all the young people of our parish that they may truly be accepted and embraced on their journey towards adulthood. We know that sometimes you may see their challenging behaviour and actions in the community but pray for those individuals' who often face specific challenges, your prayers could make a real difference.
-
Finally pray for our volunteers who have a bounty of knowledge and that they continue to develop this in support of all young people in our community.
