The Mission Focus team exists to encourage all the members of St Michael’s and St. Luke’s to have a vision of the wider outreach of the church both within our own community and also across the world.  

 

We particularly want to show our support for all our Christian sisters and brothers who work to bring Christ’s love to the needy, the vulnerable and to all those who are most disadvantaged in whatever societies they live.

 

The main organisations we support are the Church Mission Society (CMS), The Bible Society, Christian Aid, The Children’s Society, our diocesan link with Kagera in Tanzania and our support for the Rukungiri Orphan Partnership in Uganda.  

 

At intervals during the year these organisations are highlighted and will feature in a Sunday service at St Michael’s and St Luke’s. Further details will be published in the weekly newsletter.
